When the Colorado House of Representatives is not in session on the floor or adjourned, they go to committees to work on legislation. These committee hearings ARE NOT broadcast on the Colorado Channel or video streamed at this time. However, ALL committee hearings are audio streamed live. Listen to those audio streams.
The audio broadcast of proceedings of the Colorado General Assembly is provided only as an informational service. Please be advised that the time and place for scheduled hearings is subject to change. The broadcasts will only occur when the committees are in session. Currently there are no archived audio files available on the web, only live audio is available from the web. Archives of the audio streams are available at the Colorado State Archives (303 866-2358), 1313 Sherman Street, Room 1B-20, Denver CO, 80203. They also have a toll free number at 1-800-305-3442. For accessing archived audio files contact the Colorado State Archives. The State Archives public research room is open 9:00--4:30 p.m. on Monday Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of each week excluding state holidays. They are closed on weekends and Wednesdays.
